Young Tong Term (A Must Embedded Skills in Youths) Project 

The Young Tong Term (A Must Embedded Skills in Youths) project is one of the potential development activities for scholarship grantees of Sharing the Dream by SCG Foundation. It aims at developing both hard and soft skills in scholarship grantees, which will play an important role in their growth and toward their goals under the Learn to Earn, Learn to Survive concept. The survey held by SCG Foundation showed that the grantees are eager to improve their English skills in daily life and public communication, learn new ways to make extra income, as well as contribute to social service. Yet, they haven’t known how to start. Therefore, SCG Foundation designed and developed the Young Tong Term (A Must Embedded Skills in Youths) project to fulfil knowledge and develop essential skills for scholarship students.

“Young Tong Term” (A Must Embedded Skills in Youths ) project allows scholarship students at Higher Vocational Certificate levels and bachelor’s degrees across the country to participate in learning activities which are divided into 2 main sections.

1. Online Class : to inspire and provide techniques from teens’ favorite KOL in 4 areas as follows:

: English for daily life by Khun Kana from Farang Angmor

: Public Speaking by Khun Tonyon and Khun Kawin from Facebook Page   Nualthedog

: Finance and investment for teenagers by Khun Ken Jakkrit from Facebook Page Money Buffalo, ESG Young Influencer by Khun Nhum from Sustainable Development – SCG, and Khun Gap from Salmon House 

2. Self Learning & Assignment : Once participants completed Online Class, they will practice the four mentioned-above area by an online platform provided by SCG Foundation and take a test to check their understanding and receive a certificate.

Because the digitalized world is fast-moving, keeping up with the world is therefore a great value to them. Thus, SCG Foundation supports and encourages scholarship students to never stop learning and dare to try new things to enhance their skills and be ready to step into the future under the Learn to Earn, Learn to Survive concept.
