SCG Foundation, together with the Thai BIM Association (TBIM), Dusit Technical College, and CPAC BIM, organize the introductory training of BIM technology for Dusit Technical College students. The training aims for students to keep up with rapidly changing technologies, which reduce time and costs and improve design and construction efficiency.
BIM stands for Building Information Modelling, a new technology developed for the construction industry to cover the whole cycle from designing the building to the construction process. It is a software modelling process that creates at least one accurate virtual digital construction model to allow all parties involved in the construction to communicate with one another to improve collaboration and optimize work efficiency, resulting in more value-added work.
