SCG Foundation introduced the 31st school building for the remote rural school in Chainat.
Anuwat Jongyindee (third from left) - Director of SCG Foundation handed over the 4-classroom school building and toilet to Wat Sri Samosorn School, officially recognized and received by Dr. Panya Kaewkeeyoon (fourth from left) - Inspector General from Ministry of Education and Sasithorn Wongmetta (fifth from left) – Director of Chainat Primary Educational Service. It’s the 31st school building that SCG Foundation, in co-operation with SCG Volunteer Club, have built and handed over to the Ministry of Education as the public asset to be used as the educational area for youths.
Building the school building is one of the main activities of SCG Volunteer Club, financially supported and organized by SCG Foundation. It has been functioning continuously for 31 years when a group of SCG employees have voluntarily spent their vacations constructing one much-needed school building for a chosen remote rural school. This volunteer activity is a useful act in tune with SCG’s philosophy of “Concern for Social Responsibility”.
